For now this is a dream. I hope that it will eventually turn into a reality. I want to live on a farm. Right now, my reality is that we live in a subdivision. Our neighbors house is part of our side yard (our very small side yard). Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I am thankful that we have a house to live in, a job that pays the bills, 2 healthy kids that shower me with love, and a husband that treats me like a queen.
The hubs and I want to have a farm. A small scale, provide for ourselves, farm. The stress of every day life gets to be a bit much at times. We both work full-time jobs. We want a job that we both LOVE (don't we all??!). We want to be able to spend more quality time with our kids. They're growing up too fast.
I look forward to this journey. Becoming more self-sufficient. Being more do-it-yourself. Being more aware of what we put in, and on, our bodies. Making instead of purchasing. Becoming more chemical-free. Seeing the dream turn into reality someday. I hope you'll take this trip with me. :-)
